OverviewGas insulated metal-enclosed switchgear (hereinafter short as GIS) is made up of the direct combination of electrical components such as circuit breaker, disconnector, earthing Switch, Transformer, arrester, busbar, bush, cable sealing end, etc. All components are enclosed in the metal shell, which are full filled with SF6 gas for insulation and arc extinction. GIS is one of the most important equipments in the line output and distribution system for control and protection, which has advantages for small size, space saving, easy installation, and not affected by the surroundings for its high availability. GIS can also be assembled freely, maintained easily, and have low repair requirement, which is widely used in hydropower station and transformer station. ELH1-126/T2500-40 series GIS is completed under the cooperation of Tianshui Changcheng Switchgear Group Co.,Ltd. and FGUPVEI.
